At the end of each calendar year, at our Annual General Meeting, our board for the coming year is elected from our members.

Jeff Champtaloup

As Managing Partner and Creative Director of Braincells, Jeff brings a wealth of experience to our board as Chair. He has a real passion for our indie sector and representing the agencies, owners, leaders, professionals and families that make up the larger sector community to which we all belong.

Nanda Gunnink

Nanda is founder and Managing Director of animation and video production company Studio Orange. As the owner of a proud WA indie herself, Nanda brings direct personal experience of the sector, and of the challenges and options involved in running a businesses in our beautiful city and state.

Ryan Khong

Ryan joined the IN:WA board in 2025 and is Co-Founder of Word Of Mouth Agency. Ryan brings boundless energy and positivity to his board role where his focus is on events creation and management, working closely with Ivona to bring our member activations to life through the year.

Ivona is Director of Operations with Juicebox, and her operational experience in this dynamic agency makes her just right for the Deputy Chair role. Ivona’s capable and can-do approach to all things IN:WA make her invaluable to our organisation and community.

As Creative Director and partner at Workhouse, John’s focus as an IN:WA Board member is on Membership and content. John brings a wealth of writing and creative experience, combined with a positive outlook and real enthusiasm for the communications sector and the IN:WA community.

Anne Gribble

Anne is an experienced communications and public relations professional and Chief Executive Officer of Clarity Communications. Anne has been contributing to IN:WA as an active member of the Representation sub-committee and will continue to spearhead this important work in collaboration with ex-board member Mark Braddock.

Jenni Wallis

New to the IN:WA board for 2026, Jenni brings her genuine love for our sector, and her experience as Operations Director with Anthologie to the role of Treasurer. With a down-to-earth and people-first approach, we look forward to Jenni’s fresh input and direction in the coming year.

Ben De Jonge

With 15 years experience as Co-Founder of Perth agency The Cut, and now as Brand and Growth Lead with Dapth, Ben brings deep experience of our sector. For the board, his focus is on marketing, content and membership, and driving awareness of IN:WA and community engagement with our pillars and objectives.
